Our calcium clay bath is 33% calcium with added magnesium plus a variety of added trace minerals including Zinc, Iron, Cobalt, and Potassium. Unlike other marketed calcium clays, ours has more bio-availability due to the extremely fine, air floated particles, which readily dissolve in water, allowing for vastly increased absorption across the dermal layer of dart frogs, in addition to a much higher percentage of calcium and additional minerals needed for amphibian bone health. Here at Houston Frogs, we have noticed that once the frogs have washed the clay off, their skin does look brighter and cleaner. This is an auxiliary form of supplementation meant to increase vital mineral availability to your frogs; however, you will still need to orally supplement your frogs as this bath does not contain vitamins such as A and D3. We recommend providing this clay bath to your frogs twice per month and refreshing the clay every two weeks (assuming they haven’t splashed it all out of the dish!). The splashed out clay will not harm your vivarium, but instead will provide yet another calcium source for your isopods and many micro-nutrients for your plants and beneficial bacteria and fungi, so nothing is wasted!$9.99 – $34.99
This is our Dart Frog Care Guide. Please do not order more than you need as these do cost us a bit to produce. While care across the industry varies, our methods have been developed by expert breeders with years of experience and thousands of dart frogs under their care. On the front you will find all of the proper information on dart frog supplementation, water, food, lighting, humidity, temperature, etc. On the back you will find naturalistic vivarium building instructions. This comes included in our basic and advanced tadpole kit.Note one edit: We now recommend Nekton D3 as interchangeable with Repashy Calcium plus and Nekton Multi-Rep as interchangeable with Repashy Supervite.$0.00
Improved Design, Keep your enclosures damp longer
As reviewed on Aquarimax
These vents are of our very own design and will keep your enclosures damp longer than using mesh, cheesecloth, etc. They have been designed to remedy a few issues you see with most other vents. Our restrictor will do exactly that, restrict airflow if needed (sold separately as an add-on)
These vents come in a 2-inch hole diameter and 1 18th-inch hole diameter. See pictures and video for details.
Because we manufacture these ourselves there may be a 7-day lead time needed before they ship out. Please take this into consideration when placing your order
