Masdevallia amplexa are a Peruvian species of orchid. They can be mounted epiphytically (preferred) or grown in a bark heavy substrate (ABG with a little extra bark in the root area works well). US Grown, mature plant.
Keep in cooler vivariums with high humidity. They generally prefer filtered light. Do not let them dry out.
